Lewes Con Club

The Con Club is a private, mainly volunteer-run, not-for-profit social club and live entertainment venue, open every day to its members and also non-members.

Situated in the centre of the beautiful town of Lewes, county town of East Sussex and part of the South Downs National Park, with easy access to and from the city of Brighton and Hove and with a direct rail link to London, Lewes Con Club has a large bar area, a function room with a professional music stage and spacious gardens.

The Con Club’s CAMRA award winning bar is managed to a high standard with a good choice of real ales, featuring guest ales and of course Harveys of Lewes Best Bitter, plus other beers, lagers, ciders, wines and spirits. Members benefit from discounts on the already very competitive bar prices.

Opening out from the bar is a function room that can seat up to 150 people (200 standing). The room includes a fully equipped sound stage with mixing desk and a professional lighting system suitable for concerts and other events.

Music, comedy and other events take place several times a week.

Members can hire the function room for private parties, meetings etc. The club also has a professionally equipped kitchen able to cater for parties and other events.

The bar area and function room open onto a large sunny patio and gardens with a covered smoking area and barbeque.
